Due to health reasons it has been a challenge to update consistently but, hopefully the worst has passed. I plan to have a few updates a month which can range from daily life to crafting or even downloads.
During this flare-up and covid period in my life, I have been playing Animal Crossing quite often. It has made the time at home enjoyable. It is fair to say that I have enjoyed this franchise of gaming since it was first released on the Game Cube. If you don’t know what Animal Crossing is, I will give a very short but effective description. It is a low stress game in which you create a character that will live in a town with animal villagers. During your stay in the game you can farm fruit trees, catch fish or bugs and collect a variety of fossils to display at your museum (your museum also has a aquarium, an art gallery and a bug space if you choose to donate what you caught!). It also follows a real time life clock. Certain bugs or fish can only be caught during the day or night and the month or season play a role too. There is no need to rush through the game. You simply play at your own pace. This game resonates greatly with introverts and I would like to think with chronically-ill people! This is why it has probably soared in popularity during quarantine times. You get to go on an outside adventure without leaving your house.
Regardless of which version of the game I am playing one of my favorite accessories to wear (animal crossing has a variety of outfits, hats, headpieces, etc.) is the cucumber pack or lemon pack! They are little sliced cucumbers or lemons on your cheeks! I am starting to get engrossed in Illustrator and I decided to make a Cucumber & Lemon pack background to share with all of you. As always, the background are for person use only. Hope you enjoy them!
